Multichine 28

The Multichine 28, differently from most boats of this size, can fit at Category A ( Unlimited Restriction regarding seaworthiness ) by the recently introduced stix  ( stability Index ) rules adopted by the European Union.

According to the stability index ( STIX) established by the European Union to evaluate the seaworthiness of monohulls, our design Multichine 28 belongs to category A, in which a boat is considered adequate to withstand a force 10 gale with average waves of 7 m height and eventual wave heights of 14 m.
Its important to state that most production yachts of her size aren't capable to comply with STIX 32 or above, to be classified in this category. Next we show a resume of the calculation and the STIX number for the MC28
